Recently I saw a movie called "The Forbidden Kingdom", 功夫之王 in Chinese.
It is an action movie, and we may easily recognize it as acrobatic combat in Chinese opera from its Chinese film title. I thought it is a serious movie before I saw it. However, in fact, the story is indeed free and easy, and I would think it is very appropriate for famliy to see it. Also, the characters in this movie are depicted in humorous way. Thus, I would like to regard this it as both action and comedic film.
