旅行的意義

We had the anniversary celebrations of our university last weekend. First, there was an activity called throwing an embroidered ball on Friday night. The activity actually originates from Chinese traditions. In the beginning, there is a girl on the stage, and then they will throw an embroidered ball to audiences. For people who catch the ball, the bride will choose her husband from one of them. Similarly, we held the activity for students who like the girls on the stage. These students had to show their talents to attract the girl who they like. We had fun since their performances are so entertaining. The next day, we had a garden party in the afternoon. Many clubs in NCTU sold some food they prepared. Also, they had their performances on the stage such as ballroom dancing, popular dancing, cheer squad, and band show. This activity showed that students in NCTU develop their interest very well. Finally, there was a concert at Saturday night. Some invited singers are very famous. Hence, when they were close to the audiences, students tried to shake hands with singers. We were so excited about that. It seems that we really had a good time last weekend.^^
